Congratulations and Welcome to Viking Baseball!!
We are so happy to have your son on the team and are looking forward to a great season!
Let me take a minute and introduce myself and the 2024 Booster Board members. My name is Mandie Neher and together with David Dowell, Janna Snider, Jaime Ledger, and Christine Richter – Welcome!
We have been working together along with Coach Foss to get the ball rolling from behind the scenes and will continue to do so throughout the season. I know that we are all eager and excited; looking forward to a fun season!
Player Participation Requirements:
All forms, using Final Forms must be complete, including an up to date physical. Players must have a current ASB card and Pay to Participate using TouchBase on the IHS Athletics webpage. Families can log in to TouchBase and pay online or a check can be given to Lesley Clawson at Inglemoor, the ASB secretary (check made payable to: Inglemoor High School). If you are in need of a player scholarship due to financial hardship, please email the Athletic Director at [email protected]. The fee to play is $200. Families with two or more students participating at the same high school during the same season will be charged $150 per participant up to a family limit of $600 per year.
Booster Club, Purpose and Player fees:
Inglemoor Viking Baseball Boosters is a parent/alumni run organization. Our mission is to support the Viking Baseball program providing resources beyond what the Northshore School District is able to fund. This club is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that serves the Inglemoor Baseball teams. We ask that each family donate $200 to the Baseball Boosters to cover the expenses of their player. Viking Booster funds cover additional coaching staff, team equipment, reusable uniforms, Senior gifts, celebration supplies and supplemental equipment. Our only overhead is our WA State Booster Association Fees and our Board Liability Insurance, otherwise all monies received are spent directly on your player and the program – for example, this year, like in years past, your player will receive a team hat and t-shirt that was fully funded by the Booster Club. If you are experiencing financial hardship please reach out to Mandie Neher at the booster email address, [email protected]. This payment can be made electronically via Venmo to @Inglemoor-Baseball or by check made payable to Inglemoor Baseball Boosters. It can be mailed to IHS Baseball Booster at 9805 NE 116th St. PMB #7422 Kirkland, WA 98034, or enveloped and given to a Booster Board member, or enveloped and taken to the concession stand. Please mark with player's name.
*It would be great to collect the donation of $200 prior to the first game of the season, or as soon as
possible. Company matching opportunities are available for this donation because we are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.

Justin Marshall Memorial Game and Scholarship:
The Justin Marshall game is scheduled to be held the evening of Friday, March 15, 2024 during the Varsity home game. Justin Marshall was one of our coaches here at IHS. He passed of heart complications the summer of 2017 and left behind his wife and young family. He was an inspirational coach; sharing his love for the game with the boys was a passion of his. We honor his memory each year with a memorial game where we invite the Marshall Family to the field, celebrate them and play a great game of baseball in Justin’s honor. We also have the Justin Marshall Scholarship that we fundraise for at the memorial game. Each year 1 Senior is awarded the JM Scholarship, a $1000.00 award. The Boosters will be contacting all Seniors soon about submitting their interest in applying for the JM Scholarship (along with instructions, deadline and requirements). Take a moment to look at the plaque on the score booth next time you are at the field – you will see the players who have been selected for the JM scholarship in the past.
Senior Night:
We will celebrate our Senior players during the Varsity game, Wednesday, April 24, 2024. We will communicate more as we get closer to the game. You can expect a player highlight on our Social Media sites as well player recognition during the game. We are so proud of our class of 2024 Seniors.
Little League Camp:
Do you have or know a little leaguer who would like to come and learn from our coaches and players? Little League Camp will be held on Saturday March 9, 2023. Younger 9:00-10:30 amand AAA-Majors 10:30am-12:00pm. Please go to the Inglemoor baseball website at www.inglemoorvikingbaseball.com for more details on how to register.
We look forward to a great season! We are here for you! Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions ( [email protected])!
